About Scan to PDF
This tool turns photos of paper documents into one tidy PDF. It finds the sheet in each photo, cuts away the background, straightens it and evens out the light.
- What you add
- One or more photos of paper pages (up to 50), such as JPG, PNG or HEIC from a phone.
- What you get
- One PDF with a page for each photo, in the order you added them.
How to use it
- Add the photos and put them in order.
- Choose cropping, colour and page size.
- Turn on searchable text if you need it, then start.
- Download the PDF.
Settings
- Crop to the sheet: Auto finds the paper in the photo; Off keeps the whole photo.
- Colour: black and white, grey or colour.
- Page size: image size, A4 or Letter, with a margin in mm.
- Image quality for grey and colour scans.
- Make the text searchable (OCR) in English, Arabic or both.
Good to know
- Black and white gives the sharpest text and the smallest file.
- Searchable text is read automatically, so check it before relying on it.
