This tool compares the text of two versions of a document, such as a contract before and after edits, and shows the added and removed text on each page.

- Two PDF files: the original and the revised version.

- A report of the differences, as a web page (HTML) or as data (JSON).
How to use it
- Add the original PDF, then the revised one.
- Choose the report format.
- Start comparing.
- Open or download the report.
Settings
- Report format: web page (HTML) or data (JSON).
- Ignore spacing: differences in spaces and blank lines don't count.
Good to know
- Only the text is compared; changes to images or layout aren't shown.
- Scanned PDFs have no text to compare; run Make PDF searchable (OCR) on both first.
