About Split by chapters
This tool uses a PDF's bookmarks to split it into chapters. Each part is named after the chapter's title.

- One PDF file with bookmarks.

How to use it
- Add your PDF.
- Choose the bookmark level.
- Choose whether to keep the pages before the first chapter, then start.
- Download the chapters.
Settings
- Bookmark level: 1 splits at the main chapters; 2 also at their sections.
- Keep the pages before the first chapter (cover, contents) as a part of their own.
- Get the parts as one ZIP or separate files.
Good to know
- A PDF without bookmarks can't be split this way; use Split PDF with page ranges instead.
