About Auto rotate pages
Scanned batches often have a few pages the wrong way up. This tool reads the direction of the text on each page and turns only the pages that need it.
- What you add
- One PDF file, usually a scan.
- What you get
- One PDF with the detected pages turned upright, and a list of the pages that were turned.
How to use it
- Add your PDF.
- Choose the pages to check and the certainty needed.
- Start.
- Download the corrected PDF.
Settings
- Certainty needed: a page is turned only when the detection is at least this sure.
- Pages: all, or a list such as 1-3,5.
Good to know
- Detection relies on the text on the page, so pages with little or no text may be left as they are.
- If correct pages get turned, raise the certainty and run it again.
