How to use it

  1. Add your PDF.
  2. Choose the format, the layout and the pages.
  3. Start.
  4. Download the text file.

Settings

  • Output format: plain text, HTML or Markdown.
  • Text layout: reading order, or as laid out to keep column spacing (plain text only).
  • Pages: all, or a list such as 1-3,5.

Good to know

  • Scanned PDFs have no text layer; run Make PDF searchable (OCR) first.
  • To edit the document with its formatting, use Convert document to turn the PDF into Word.
