Verify signatures
Check every signature and timestamp in a PDF: who signed, when, and whether the file changed since.
About Verify signatures
This tool checks the digital signatures and timestamps in a PDF and reports on each one, without changing the file.
- What you add
- One signed PDF file.
- What you get
- A report on the page for each signature and timestamp. No new file is made.
How to use it
- Add the signed PDF.
- Start the check.
- Read the result for each signature.
Good to know
- Trust is checked against a public list of root authorities; whether a certificate was revoked isn't checked.
- A self-signed or unknown signer means no known authority vouches for the signer's identity.
- A visible signature image (as from Sign PDF) isn't a digital signature, so it isn't listed.
Your files are processed only for this operation and deleted when it finishes. No one at Tools War can view what you upload.
