About Add background
This tool places a background behind what's already on PDF pages: a colour that fills the page, or an image or a PDF page such as a letterhead or a frame. The page content stays on top.

How to use it
- Add your PDF.
- Choose a colour, or add the image or PDF to use.
- Set its size, angle, opacity, position and pages.
- Start, then download the PDF.
Settings
- Source: a colour, an image, or a page of a PDF file.
- Size: relative to the page or as a percent of the file's own size; angle in degrees and opacity.
- Position: top, middle or bottom and left, centre or right, with a distance in points, millimetres, inches or percent.
- Show on screen, when printing or both; pages: all, odd, even or a list.
Good to know
- The background replaces one added here earlier on the same pages.
- The page's own content stays above the background and isn't changed.
Your files are processed only for this operation and deleted when it finishes. No one at Tools War can view what you upload.
