About Header & footer
This tool writes a header at the top and a footer at the bottom of PDF pages. Each has a left, a centre and a right box, and the text can include the page number, the page count and the date. It is written as real, searchable text.

How to use it
- Add your PDF.
- Type the text of the boxes you need and insert the page number or the date where you want them.
- Choose the font, size, colour, margins and pages.
- Start, then download the PDF.
Settings
- Six boxes: left, centre and right in the header and in the footer.
- Page number, page count and date, with Western or Arabic-Indic digits and the month in Arabic or English.
- Font, size, colour, bold, italic and underline for the whole set; margins in inches, millimetres or points.
- Pages: all, odd, even or a list, and the number to start counting from.
Good to know
- Shrink the page content makes room so the header and footer don't cover what's already on the page.
- Running the tool again on the same pages can replace the header and footer added here earlier.
